Hip Hop Audition
A closer look at the hip hop audition for the dancers...
We are now at the phase of the auditions. Of course hundreds of dancers that also want to dance in the clip, show up. Between wanting to actually getting chosen, there is a long road of eliminations to pass... come see what hip hop audition is about (and don't worry, I won't eliminate you, at least not at this point....)
The choreographer meet the dancers and explains about the clip, its style, what they want in the dance, what kind of energy, what's the message of the clip, and what the dance material is. (combinations- you already know what these are)

The choreographer teaches the dancers combinations by combinations, and tests them on receptiveness, personal style and more. Of course, not everyone is suitable, and slowly through process of elimination they pick their dancers.
You wanna know what they are going to say?
Well, most likely they won't say anything. At first you'll get a number, and after each phase they'll call out the numbers of those who pass to the next round. Then, they'll just not call out your number. You'll take your belongings, shed a tear or two, and go home. Tomorrow is a new day!
Remember- The best of dancers have gotten as far as they have because they failed many auditions (and they didn't give up, and went on to the next audition.)
Another important thing to remember- If you have been eliminated, it absolutely it does not mean that you are bad dancer, rather that you don't fit the specific clip. Perhaps you have a different style that would better fit another clip in the future.
