A little about me...

What's up Hip-Hop fans. How are you guys?

Welcome to my website. Before you begin the journey I have prepared for you, I want to tell you a bit about myself, and my greatest love ever, dancing.

Since I can remember, all that has ever been in my head is the intense desire to dance. Already as a little girl, I couldn't sit still. At weddings I would lose control on the dance floor until I had to be dragged away as it had ended...

On birthdays and school gatherings as soon as I arrived, I got hooked to the DJ like infusion and would drive the poor guy crazy- "Do you know this song? Please play it!" I wouldn't relax until I danced to all my favorite songs. Slowly, my mom realized that it wasn't just my desire to dance, or my love for music, it was my way of releasing energy, or in her words, a way to relax from my "hyper-activity". She decided that she must find a way to deal with this "thorn in her side". So this is how I found myself at five years of age, in a big studio, with many more hyper-active girls just like me.

Later on I developed specialized in this field. I studied in a school for arts, in the dance department, graduating in Modern and Classical. I studied in the studio, with great teachers. I guess the more I grew in the dance world, though I became more refined, I still couldn't shake this "hyperness". I felt like I was missing something. This disappeared the first time I stepped into a Hip-Hop class.

The last few years, I have continued to develop in the field. I studied at the academy of Dance in Jerusalem and I crossed over from being instructed to instructing. Today I am teaching in "trepsicory" studio in Jerusalem, trying to pass on my knowledge and love of Hip-Hop to the new generation. I do this in a fun and pleasing way, just as I was taught. Today when I teach or take a class in Jazz or a workshop (as you already know, there's always more to learn), I know and understand that it doesn't get better than this.

I would like to thank some people who have been of great influence to me and to my development as a dancer and teacher. To my mother, who let me enter this wonderful world, and supported me always. To my amazing teacher Rosy Rozenshtock, without whom I would not be where I am today; her reinforcement, her scolding, her love, and her instilling motivation in me for the future. Many thanks as well to every teacher who has had me in their class as a student, and contributed to my professional growth. Thanks to all my friends who gave a shoulder on which to lean, and helped in the creation of this site.

A warm thanks to Eyal, who pushed the idea for this website forward and made sure that every word on paper be printed all the way to you.
I love you all
