Foundered by JC Reyes of Buddy Jamm Dance Crew - Illadvanced Urban Arts Collective has been involved in the Australian Urban community since 1989; It started as a collective of hip hop and street funk dance crews, MCs, and DJs and after many years of evolution Illadvanced is now one of Melbourne's newest and most versatile urban dance and arts center. Together with a new partner in Nick Boyd-Caine, a talented musician and a Tantrumm member, IUAC aims to establish and provide a place where urban culture is fostered positively and its expression genuinely acknowledged and showcased. The center is driven by its passion for the national and international growth of urban arts and it is inspired by cultural education. IUAC advocates the embrace of artistic evolution and the acceptance of all street-born art forms.


Styles and Programs on offer: Hip hop, Reggaeton, Urban Salsa, Street Contemporary, Kids and Teens Street Dance Program, Competition teams and Performance troops. All levels welcome, no dance experience required.
