Snoop Dog is a rapper, musical producer and actor. His real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. He's one of the top dogs in the west coast's Hip-Hop scene. He's one of the "hip" cats, the kind that make you want to be at the scene.
Snoop doesn't mess around with all that east vs. west coast business. We can see him collaborating with rappers from both coasts.

50 Cent is one of the hottest names in the rap world (and not only there) today. He just makes great music.
His real name is Curtis Jackson. He is without a doubt one of the more successful rappers of this decade, from a musical perspective as well as a commercial one. You've probably figured out that a rappers success has got everything to do with his reputation on the "street", being tough and getting along in the gang world. So 50 cent is "the dog".
After his mother died during a drug deal, and he himself was shot a number of times, he succeed in building a rap empire in New York, before he even got to sing seriously! He is without a doubt the best out there...

Ja Rule

Ja Rule is an aggressive and violent person who makes great music. His real name is Jeffery Atkins (kind of nerdy no?) Ja Rule has also managed to act in some films simultaneously. He's especially known for his coarse voice, which has been called "paper-glass" or "throat-infection", nevertheless he has one of the most outstanding voices in Hip-Hop today.

Jay-Z

Jay-z is a rap artist and a producer. His real name is Sean Corey Carter, and he is considered to be one of the most successful and popular rappers of the late nineties and of this millennium. He his known for his freestyle capabilities, clever word play, and great ability to mix between street Hip-Hop and more popular Hip-Hop.
He was one of the most respected rappers in the Hip-Hop industry, until he announced his retirement from the record industry in 2004.

One of the most successful musicians and rappers, he has won a Grammy and an Oscar. Born with the name Marshall Bruce Mathers III (great name, don't you think?) Eminem is considered to be one of the greatest rappers, as well as being one of the most controversial ones.
He's a "prodigy", discovered by one of the best producers in the rap music industry - Dr. Dre, who helped him pave his road to fame. Eminem is recognized as one of the more talented artists today. His ability to change the flow of words and style stands out throughout the songs, without escaping the beat.

Singer, actor, dancer, and of course a hottie. His full name is Usher Raymond IV.

But of course someone like Usher wouldn't just make music, he tries his luck on acting in films, modeling, a fashion line and in the NBA.

Few are the people who influenced the rap music industry more than our beloved Dr-dre, he is the Doctor of Hip-Hop; one of the richest people in the industry. Jack-of-all-trades, from rapping to fashion and above all producing albums.
He is known for his extended work with rappers from the west coast such as Snoop Dog and Tupak Shakur. Member of the late group NWA and the founder of "Death row" records along with Surge Knight and Aftermath Entertainment - who represent Eminem, 50 cent, Busta Rhymes, Eve, and of course the Doctor himself among others.

Sean John combs is the king of this industry. He can crown rappers and advance them from the street to the center stage. Rapper, producer, and a global fashion brand name, Puff is the biggest money machine in the business.
His octopus arms encompass way more than just the music industry, they reach every field where there's cash. His media empire included the "Bad Boy" Entertainment label, fashion brand "Sean John" "Sean" by Sean Combs production company and a restaurant line.
Beyond owning these companies, Puff also functions as production manager, fashion designer, actor, rapper and singer. Without a doubt he is one of the most influential people, making Hip-Hop so central in the world's consciousness, as well as himself; being that he's one of the richest men in the entertainment world with a few hundred million dollars resting in the bank or invested somewhere.
